Hervey Bay couple Brent Fitzgerald and Sarah Livingstone first met as teenagers and were high school sweethearts in 2007. When they finished school, Sarah moved to Brisbane to study and become a veterinarian while Brent stayed in Hervey Bay to finish his apprenticeship and become a trade qualified plumber. Their long-distance relationship lasted for five years before Sarah returned to Hervey Bay and the couple have never been happier.

When Craig Dover, 27 met Steph Rowan, 25, it wasn't case of falling in love with 'the girl next door' as much as the 'girl down the street'. "We met through mutual friends in 2009," Steph recalls.

"Craig was living with his brother in the same street that I lived in with my parents so we had both seen each other in passing, weren't officially introduced until a night out with friends."

Brisbane couple David Tait and Casey Barker shared a passion for travel, so they could think of no better way to start their lives together than with a destination wedding on Fraser Island.

Ashleigh and Daniel have travelled to islands all over the world- in 2014 the pair got engaged in Hawaii. So when it came time to pick the perfect spot for a wedding, they combined their wedding with an island get-away and said "I do" on the white sandy beaches of Fraser Island at Kingfisher Bay Resort.
